A) The curriculums offered may vary from school to school, GIIS School, Uppal Campus offers Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE for grades I-XII) and University of Cambridge (IGCSE for grades VI-X).
A) IGCSE grade exams are held within school. CBSE Grade X and XII board exams will be held in different centres. Grades X & XII question papers are set and evaluated by the CBSE board. A) The procedure for applying leave is through Almanac note or mail or letter addressed to Principal in case the child is not well for a day. If the leave is for more than 3 days then he/she should provide the leave certificate/ doctor’s certificate after coming to the school. If the child has to take a leave for any other purpose he/she should intimate well in advance through a leave letter or through almanac and should get it duly signed by the Incharge/Principal and get the leave sanctioned.

A) If the child is absent from school for a long time(under medical cases only) the portion/syllabus will be covered for the child during free periods within the school hours. In other cases (non-medical) its entirely parents’ responsibility to cover up the syllabus. School expects students to be present on all working days.

A)MCB (my class board) is the software used by School. The parent can log into MCB through the user id and password and can access the daily updates. Parents can access the worksheet and other Announcements sent from school.

A)Fee is segregated under two heads i.e. Annual Fee and Tuition fee. Tuition fee is collected in three installments (of four months each). The 1st Term tuition is to be remitted on or before 1st April, 2nd Term on or before 10th August and 3rd Term on or before 10th Dec.
Transport fee and Mess fee is optional and depends on the availing of facilities. Transport fee depends on the various slabs based on distance. It is paid in 3 installments along-with Tuition fee. Mess fee of student depends on child’s class & age.

A)Yes, parents can choose a particular CCA’s (Co-curricular Activities) throughout your child’s education at GIIS. Nevertheless, there is also an option that the child can change his / her ECA by providing an application to Principal after completion of one session.
A)The child will be assessed for the competitions held within the campus by teachers.The participation in all ECA and CCA will be taken into account. The student will be assessed with grades according to their participation and excellence, at the end of the Academic year. If the child scores inadequate grades in Academics then there is a possibility of up-gradation in Scholastic for Grade IX & X on the basis of Non-Scholastic grades through CCA/ECA.
A) There is a choice of selecting ECA according to the child’s/parent’s choice. CCA’s will be conducted in the school premises common to all the children weekly once. A consent form regarding ECA is given to the child after the school reopens and the child can fill it according to the child’s/parent’s choice.
A)The CCA’s are planned by the CCA In charges at the beginning of the Academic year and goes according to the time table. The ECA’s consist of GA-I and GA-II.
